hi everyone! anybody knows what better iron vanguard or swordmaster?

    after this patch is doest metter, gf will be most boring and useless charr. You will be only tank and nothing more but, you probabaly easily find party, cuz a lot of gf's soon end his game.

    If i wanted to answer this question, I'd say that for a casual players, I'd definitely go with the swordmaster path in order to choose from two paragon paths Protector and Conqueror. If You prefer being a superior tank, pick the SM Protector. If You want to keep soloing hard encounters - pick SM Conqueror. You can though become particularly valuable by picking an Iron Vanguard Path with the Tactician tree, which capstone will make Your party gain a lot of AP while You take damage.

    I still fail to see a reason to go IV over SM.

    For me, ever since mod6, Swordmaster is superior and it will still remain there in mod10.
    I simply got used to WMS which is by far (again imo) better than Cleave.

    Protector is a great tank, you will be really hard to kill in group play.
    Tactican is (should be) even more party oriented buffer.
    Conqueror as a pure DPS tree, I'm still with this one and mod 10 will not change anything.

    I tend to agree with Kemi however what are you thinking for class features and your offhand at will now that tide of Iron is pointless - last I checked.

    Actually I dumped my Shield Talent for a while, and Tide of Iron is the best At-Will I can slot under RMB right now.
    Annnnd the only power worthy to restore Your Stamina bar quickly enough.
